A mother and daughter have been arrested for multiple counts of felony insurance fraud grand theft after submitting several fraudulent disability claims. The mother claimed injuries from playing softball, falling off of a ladder, and being bitten by a snake. The daughter filed claims resulting from a football game, hitting her head after falling, and also being bitten by a snake. Upon investigation it was discovered that the two had not been to the medical facilities they submitted statements for and had not been treated for the injuries claimed. They were both arrested on December 17, 2020 and are being held on $50,000 bond each.
