I need to clarify the following. In a personal property policy, the air conditioners that are attached to the structures are considered as building or content?
On the other hand, a personal property policy in a condominium with endorsement of building additions and alterations, those air conditioners are considered structure or content?

If the air conditioners are part of the apartment complex or condominium complex, they are part of the building. If they were window units that the insured installed, then they would be personal property if the insured would take them with him when he moved. If he installs them permanently, then they are additions and alterations.
