PartnerRe has appointed Jonathan Schriber as head of structured risk for its North America property and casualty ("P&C") operations.
Working out of PartnerRe's Stamford office as part of the North America P&C business unit, he will report to Dick Sanford, head of PartnerRe's North America P&C operations and president of PartnerRe US.
Most recently, Mr. Schriber was chief underwriting officer for global reinsurance at W.R. Berkley Corporation, where he was involved in overall underwriting strategy, aggregate management, and new product development. He joined Berkley Re America in July 2007 to manage the North American brokered treaty unit, where he developed new lines of business including structured risk and opened a Canadian branch.
Mr. Schriber holds a B.S. in quantitative business analysis from Penn State University, as well as the chartered financial analyst designation.
