Benjamin Rowley has been named senior underwriter for financial lines for Chubb's global markets business.
Mr. Rowley is a medical malpractice specialist, and he will be responsible for growing and managing this area for Chubb.
He joined Chubb from Hiscox, where he underwrote errors and omissions business on behalf of Syndicate 33 for 18 years. His most recent role was head of healthcare within the casualty division.
The appointment is effective immediately and he reports to Trevor Ormes, underwriting manager for financial lines for Chubb's global markets business.
