Keith Schraad has been named interim director of the Arizona Department of Insurance ("ADOI") by Arizona Governor Douglas A. Ducey.
Mr. Schraad has over 25 years of both private sector and public sector experience in the areas of insurance, health care, technology, and government.
During his term as president and chief executive officer of Online Insurance Corporation (from 2008 to 2015), Mr. Schraad helped to develop solutions for insurance companies and health care professionals that streamlined their customer service operations and improved their interfaces with government.
He served in the Kansas Senate from 1996 to 1998, where he was vice chair of the Judiciary Committee. He also was vice president of a government technology company, where he worked with states to improve the delivery of government services.
Mr. Schraad has a bachelor of general studies in history from the University of Kansas and a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.
