Trident Insurance Group, Inc., based in Dunkirk, Maryland, has signed a strategic partnership with Lexington National Insurance Corporation, located in Lutherville, Maryland.

Trident said in a statement that this agreement would allow it to expand its surety offering "not only locally, but throughout the entire United States."

The agreement, Trident said, "enhances its ability to service the growing demand in the standard and specialty surety market throughout the Mid-Atlantic region."
