Amerisure Insurance has promoted Steve Donnelly to vice president of claims.

In his new role, Mr. Donnelly is responsible for all aspects of Amerisure's claims department including aligning its operations with Amerisure's strategic goals.

He will report directly to Amerisure's president and chief executive officer, Greg Crabb.

Mr. Donnelly joined Amerisure in 2014 and most recently served as its vice president of field claims, where he was responsible for leading the performance of all field operations. Before joining Amerisure, Mr. Donnelly was vice president and claims manager at QBE for its Midwest region. Prior to that, he worked 10 years for The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company (subsequently Liberty Mutual) as a regional vice president, among other roles.

Mr. Donnelly has a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Iowa and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.
