Workers Comp Fraud—Ohio

AMOUNT: $25,000

 

An Ohio man plead guilty and was sentenced to one count of workers compensation fraud. The individual went back to work at his own business while collecting temporary total disability from November 2010 to August 2011. He paid $21,579 in restitution and $4,155.07 to cover the costs of the fraud investigation. He received a suspended sentence of 180 days in jail and was fined $500.
