Hiring has remained a persistent concern throughout 2022, which means workers now "see themselves in the driver's seat," according to a new report from Homebase.
Insurers are especially attractive to hackers because of the information they collect and the assumption that they have deep pockets in the event of a cyberattack.
"If there's a direct-hit Category 5 storm that hits Miami, you're going to see 20 insurance companies go bankrupt and are not going to be able to pay claims. It's become a big problem," said South Florida insurance broker Joseph Gendelman.
