Veruna announced Jennifer Carroll as the company's new CEO,replacing Bob Scullin, who is moving into an expanded and ongoingrole at Keystone Insurance Group, an investor in Veruna.

Carroll has extensive experience advising technology startupsthrough all life phases, from formation to venture financing toexits, including mergers andacquisitions. She formerly served as general counseland a fractional C-suite executive for startups such asDrillinginfo (now Enverus) and Revionics, as well as running a lawfirm focused exclusively on high-growth potential companies.

Carroll says her background in technology startups, particularlybusiness-to-business Software-as-a-Service startups, can helpVeruna to be "even more successful in delivering best-in-classsoftware in a sustainable model that will match, then outpace, ourcompetition when it comes to innovation and opportunity."

Prior to being named CEO, she helped Veruna raise more than $5million in seed and series A funding. As CEO, she is focused onoptimizing operations for efficiency and scaling the company.Carroll says some examples of changes at Veruna include refocusingits product roadmap, implementing a partner program in the next twoquarters for even more customer support and going out to theventure community for the next financinground.
