BetterView, the San Francisco-based companythat captures and analyzes data from drones, has partnered withCISGroup to provide their national network of fieldinspectors with drone software and services. Texas-based CIS Groupof Companies is a full-service claim adjusting, underwriting andappraisal services organization, serving the needs of more than 125insurers. Its national network of inspectors, adjusters andappraisers provide the prompt, reliable and valuable informationtrusted by Carriers as they make their risk management and claimsdecisions. "In today's competitive insurance industry, there aremany unique transactions that require specialized roof imagery anddata," said Ballard Castleman, CEO of CIS Group. "Partnering withBetterView allows us to enhance the roof inspection process."

Safepoint Insurance Company has selectedDuckCreek Technologies to modernize its property andcasualty insurance core systems. The Tampa-based insurer currentlyoffers residential and commercial property insurance productsthrough agency partners serving customers in Florida and Louisiana.Duck Creek's policy and billingsolutions will be used to improve operational efficiencies aswell as support new product development that will advance businessgrowth and expand their offerings to additional states.

Central Mutual InsuranceCompany (CMI) has chosen the Insurance Enterprise View data managementsolution from Insurity, Inc. to serve as itsenterprise data warehouse and data integration hub, and for itsreporting and analytics needs. Central Mutual Insurance willleverage IEV's tools and configuration capabilities to implementthe application internally for both personal and commercial linesbusiness. IEV will consolidate detailed policy, billing, and claimsdata together from a variety of CMI's other vendor and home grownapplications, providing a comprehensive platform for enterprisereporting and analytics that will help fuel the company's continuedgrowth.  IEV will also play a key role supporting CMI'sproject to modernize its policy applications.

Insurity also recently announcedthat Olympus Insurance Company, a Floridahomeowners insurance provider, successfullyimplemented SIMS Claims™ as part of its plan to bring claimsin-house.
