Seven new commercial insurance and employee benefitsbrokerages have joined The Council of Insurance Agents &Brokers, bringing the total for the year to 21 new members.
|The most recent members are BouchardInsurance (Clearwater, Fla.), Dealey Renton &Associates (Oakland, Calif.), EWI Reinsurance,Inc. (Dallas), Flood andPeterson (Greeley, Colo.), LutgertInsurance (Naples, Fla.), RiskStrategies (Boston), SIACI (Paris,France).
|Other recent Council members include Ascende, Inc.;Associated Financial Group; Buck Consultants, a Xerox Company;Burns & Wilcox Ltd.; Cobbs Allen; Corporate Synergies Group;Holmes Murphy & Associates; Keenan; NFP; Price Forbes;ProInsurance; Warner Pacific; Wholesale Trading Co-Op Ins. Srvcs.;and Worldwide Facilities Inc.

|The Council also added two insurer members: StarrCompanies and NationwideInsurance, and industry partner, theWorldwide Broker Network, to its Leadership Circlecorporate sponsorship platform.
|The Council will host its 101st Insurance Leadership Forum nextmonth in Colorado Springs.
