Some 21,000 California employees of Apple Stores and callcenters have filed a class-action lawsuit against Apple Inc.,claiming the company broke state labor laws by withholding timelymeal and rest breaks.
|Judge Ronald Prager of the Superior Court of California for theCounty of San Diego, who granted the suit class-action status onMonday, noted that Apple had put a new policy into place to complywith California laws in August 2012. The lawsuit was originallyfiled in 2011, and covers infringements from December 2007 toAugust 2012.
