Agencyport, Valen Partner on Analytics Solution for Insurers

Agencyport Software (formerly Sword Insurance), a provider of software and services to the global insurance and reinsurance industries, announces that it has partnered with Valen Technologies, Inc., to provide Agencyport customers with an integrated predictive analytics solution.

Under the agreement, Agencyport will integrate Valen’s InsureRight product into the AgencyPortal platform to provide agents and underwriters with a predictive analytics offering for identifying the risks associated with any new book of business.   Underwriters will also be able to determine whether policies have been misclassified, provide agents with real-time pricing on more policies and faster underwriting turnaround times.

“Valen has an excellent reputation and deep experience within the predictive analytics marketplace which made for a natural choice as a partner,” says Michael McCurley, senior vice president of global sales for Agencyport.  “Our clients use AgencyPortal to provide agent self-service on the Web and by integrating AgencyPortal with Valen, our customers can now make better and faster decisions around approving policies.”

“Agencyport was an attractive partner and we are excited to begin the relationship, and to provide Valen’s InsureRight product as a competitive advantage for workers compensation agents and underwriters” says Dax Craig, CEO of Valen.

The predictive analytics capabilities will be available as part of the forthcoming AgencyPortal version 4.5.
