The Alabama Department of Insurance published three bulletins informing insurers of the change of certain fees, effective January 1, 2027.

Insurance Regulation Chapter 482-1-160.02, Service Contract Provider Fee, amended the initial and renewal service contract provider registration fee to $290.

Insurance Regulation Chapter 482-1-148.07, Title Insurance Agent License, amended the individual title insurance agent application fee to $24 and the license fee to $48. For business entity title insurance agents, the application fee is $24 and the license fee is $120.

Insurance Regulation Chapter 482-1-110.04, Renewal of Licenses, amended the biennial license renewal fee for individual producers and service representatives to $84, and for business entity producers to $100.

All changes were amended on August 6, 2026, and are effective January 1, 2027.
