Automobile and other fraud — Nevada

Two members of a twenty-two-member fraud ring were sentenced to thirteen months and ten months in federal prison, respectively. The ring staged a variety of frauds between 2013 and 2018, including automobile, boating, stair fall, pedestrian/vehicle and other accidents.

While the ringleader has fled and is a fugitive, the two members caught and charged were also ordered to pay restitution of $135,000 and $76,000 for their parts in the various frauds.
