Mr. Hawkes also joins XL Catlin from AIG and brings with him almost 20 years' experience in personal lines and experience providing claims service for HNW individuals.
Neil Robertson, XL Catlin's chief executive of global specialty insurance, said, “Given our strong underwriting expertise in a broad range of specialty coverages, including fine art, jewelry, equine, kidnap and ransom, general aviation, yachts, and accident and health products, we believe we are well positioned to provide a meaningful and differentiated offering which truly serves HNW and UHNW individuals.”
Mr. Robertson added, “HNW and UHNW individuals expect the highest levels of service, and I believe Simon, Ann, and Chris, who are recognized by the market to be leaders in their field, have exactly the right credentials to develop and deliver an extremely relevant suite of products and services for this growing market sector. I look forward to seeing them launch this new offer to the market next year.”
