NJM Insurance Group, a New Jersey propertycasualty insurer, has promoted Mitchell A. Livingston to executive vice president and corporate counsel.
Mr. Livingston, who is also a member of NJM's board of directors, is responsible for leading the company's strategic planning efforts, while also headingup NJM's commercial lines sales, service, and underwriting divisions, which include workers' compensation. He also oversees NJM's human resources department and special investigations unit.
Mr. Livingston, formerly a director of the law firm of Sterns & Weinroth, joined NJM in 2006 as a staff attorney and following a series of promotions was named senior vice president and corporate counsel in 2013, the same year he was elected to the NJM board.
Mr. Livingston is a graduate of Rutgers University and Rutgers School of Law.
