FCCI Insurance Group, based in Sarasota, Florida, has appointed Lisa Krouse to its board of directors. She is the first woman appointed to FCCI's board.

Ms. Krouse, an attorney, is FCCI's executive vice president and chief human resources officer and will retain her current position along with her board duties.

Ms. Krouse has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and in human resources. She joined FCCI in 2005.

“Lisa has served FCCI for more than a decade and her understanding of, and commitment to, our mission, values, and corporate character, along with her insurance and human resources experience, makes her a natural fit for our board,” said John Stafford, the chairman of the board.

Craig Johnson, FCCI's president and chief executive officer, said, “Lisa is an excellent choice for our board. She brings vision, strategic leadership, and a passion for our culture. This is a milestone for FCCI, and we are fortunate to have such a strong candidate within the company.”

“I'm honored to be joining the board,” said Ms. Krouse. “I've always done my best to contribute to FCCI and have a positive impact, and I'm excited to be able to do that in a new way. I have tremendous respect for each of FCCI's directors, and I look forward to serving with them in an increased capacity.”

Ms. Krouse began her insurance career at NCCI, where she worked for nearly 10 years. Prior to joining FCCI, she was general counsel, Southeast region, and vice president of human resources at Zenith Insurance Company. She received her B.S. from New York University and her J.D. from New York Law School.
