Steven A. Meyerowitz, the Director of FC&S Legal and the Editor-in-Chief of its flagship publication, the Insurance Coverage Law Report, has written a Focus column, “How to Qualify an Expert Witness in the Area of Insurance Claims Handling,” that was published in the January/February 2016 issue of the Insurance Coverage Law Report.
The column discusses a recent decision by a federal district court in Florida in a bad faith case that illustrates the factors a court considers when a plaintiff seeks to qualify an expert witness who is challenged by a defendant insurance company.
