Marc L. Abrams has joined Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. Mr. Abrams, who previously was a partner at Nelson Brown & Co., will be a member in the firm's litigation practice in New York.
With more than 15 years of insurance and reinsurance experience, Mr. Abrams has guided domestic and international insurances, cedents, and reinsurers through all aspects of dispute resolution, both in U.S. courts and before arbitration panels. His experience encompasses matters such as rescission, allocation, aggregation, notice, follow the fortunes, security, payment of interest, set-offs, insolvency, captives, claims handling practices, claims control, special acceptances, underwriting intent, and other matters of contractual interpretation.
Mr. Abrams also litigates and arbitrates insurance coverage matters and other commercial disputes involving insurers.

Mr. Abrams holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from Northwestern University.
