Allied World North America and the American Professional Agency, Inc. (the “APA”) have launched a new insurance program for social workers that provides professional liability and general business liability coverage, as well as coverage for defense expenses related to disciplinary and licensing proceedings.
Allied said that the new program was designed for social workers who hold M.S.W., D.S.W., M.A., or M.S. degrees in the field of social work from an accredited school or social workers who hold a B.S.W. degree and are supervised by a professional with a master's degree or higher in the mental health field.
