Elan R. Kandel has joined the New York office of Cozen O'Connor as a partner in the firm's global insurance department.
Mr. Kandel, formerly a partner with Kaufman Borgest & Ryan LLP, counsels on all aspects of claims involving private equity firms and their portfolio companies, including professional liability, directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, and fiduciary liability.

Mr. Kandel is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
