Munich Health North America has appointed Travis Micucci president of Munich Re Stop Loss.
“Travis is a seasoned leader with a strong record demonstrating both confidence and consistency in achieving profitable growth,” said Donna Peterson, the president and chief executive officer of Munich Health North America. “We are pleased to have found such a high caliber individual to lead Munich Re Stop Loss into the future. The hiring of Travis demonstrates the commitment Munich Re has to this dynamic segment of the health industry.”
Mr. Micucci was previously with Sun Life Financial, where he held the position of regional vice president responsible for its eastern region's stop loss distribution. Mr. Micucci spent almost 20 years with Sun Life Financial, holding a variety of positions including leader of the stop loss underwriting and medical risk teams, group sales manager for the Cleveland and New York City offices, and sales representative in the Tampa office.
Joining Munich Health, Mr. Micucci will be based in Munich Re Stop Loss' office in Andover, Massachusetts, and will report directly to Ms. Peterson. He will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategy, enhancing client relationships, and growing the stop loss business.
