Elias Vogen has been named director of Securian's newly-formed voluntary benefits product unit.
Mr. Vogen joined Securian Financial Group after graduating from St. Olaf College in 2003. Prior to being named director for voluntary products, Mr. Vogen was manager for group life and individual life claims.
“Eli will lead a multi-disciplinary team as we develop a suite of products to effectively compete within the growing voluntary benefits market,” said Von Peterson, senior vice president of group life insurance.
The voluntary benefits initiative is a part of Securian's strategy to expand its product offerings in the group insurance market.
