Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has appointed Todd M. Greeley as vice president of claims for its executive and professional lines business. Mr. Greeley previously was a vice president at CNA Financial Corporation.
“With his extensive claims experience and legal background, Todd embodies the sophisticated technical expertise central to our claims approach,” said David Crowe, senior vice president and chief claims officer at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. “Todd also has a proven track record of working closely with underwriters, brokers, and customers at every stage of the business relationship, and will be working closely with our underwriters as we enhance our products and grow our executive and professional lines.”
Before joining CNA Financial in 2002, Mr. Greeley was an attorney in private practice in New York, where he focused on commercial litigation and represented executive and professional liability insurers. He began his career as an assistant district attorney in the Manhattan district attorney's office.
Mr. Greeley holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona. He will be based in the New York office of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.
