Chadbourne & Parke LLP has promoted Samantha Miller to counsel.

Ms. Miller, based in Chadbourne's Washington, D.C., office represents corporate clients and their boards on many aspects of risk oversight, including an assessment of potential risks that the corporations and their boards may face, and then advises them on how best to protect themselves from liability through customized insurance arrangements. An integral part of her practice is advising boards on key steps they should be taking with respect to risk oversight and compliance with new regulations in both the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Miller also advises clients on reinsurance matters, including complex reinsurance claims, dispute resolution, and commutations.

Ms. Miller graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, B.A., magna cum laude, in 1996, and the University of Texas Law School, J.D., magna cum laude, in 1998.
