According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for insurance agents in the U.S. is expected to grow 6% from 2021-2031, with around 52,700 agents positions opening each year.

Demand for actuaries is even stronger. Open positions for actuaries are expected to increase 21% from 2021-2031, according to BLS, which noted this is much faster than the average for all occupations.

Bruce Baumgarten

With more than 25 years of experience, Baumgarten currently serves as vice president of talent at CSAA Insurance Group. In this role, he is responsible to driving the strategy and design of the company's talent acquisition, corporate learning, talent management and leadership development initiatives.

Manuel "Manny" Padilla

As vice president of risk management and insurance for holding company MacAndrews & Forbes, Padilla is responsible for analysis, procurement and management of a variety of risk management functions, including settlement activities on first- and third-party claims. Since joining the company in 1992, he has overseen the risk management needs of a diverse portfolio of businesses, ranging from cosmetics and casino gaming to military equipment and mining.

Padilla, a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, is also a board member of The Risk Management Society.

Caitlin Rascelles

As senior vice president of PURE Insurance's Western Zone business, Rascelles oversees a team working across 13 states. In addition, she is the company's senior leader at its office in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she handles general office management, cultural engagement and interdepartmental collaboration of more than 150 employees. Rascelles has decades of experience on the carrier side, having held underwriting, sales and general management roles across commercial lines and personal lines for high net worth individuals.
