More than $45,000 was paid by the workers' compensation insurance company for medical bills and wage indemnity benefits for the allegedly fraudulent claim.
The suspects allegedly purchased or increased auto insurance policy coverage after their vehicles already had been damaged and then misrepresented the dates of loss in claims submitted to their insurance carriers.
