Liberty Mutual Insurance's sitting Chairman and CEO David H. Long will retire at the end of this year, the company reported. Timothy M. Sweeney, who was named company president in 2021, has been selected to succeed him. Long will serve as executive chairman of the board following his retirement, while Sweeney's CEO appointment will start in January 2023. Sweeney has already joined the board.

Workers Compensation Institute announced that Andrew Sabolic joined as executive director. He led state relations for the National Council on Compensation Insurance in St. Louis, Missouri.
