The insurance industry has long made an effort to recruit veterans, but some P&C insurance carriers make it easier for vets to settle into a career than others, according to the latest employer rankings from Military Friendly®, a website that collects and assesses resources for former military personnel.
This year, eight P&C insurance companies made the annual Military Friendly® list of top employers for veterans. (A few health insurance carriers also made the list but aren't included in our roundup.) The goal of this list is to identify businesses and organizations "whose commitment to serving the military and veteran community is comprehensive in scope and meaningful in terms of actual outcomes and impact."
