On January 7, 2020 in the town of Guanica, Puerto Rico at 4:24 in the morning, an earthquake of magnitude 6.6 occurred causing damage to countless residences and public buildings, including schools. Since December 28, 2019, southern Puerto Rico has registered more than 50 earthworks.
