Homebuyers looking for affordable single-family homes are migrating to the southeast U.S., according to a new report from Redfin, a technology-powered real estate brokerage.

Redfin developed its 2020 watch list of the country's hottest neighborhoods by identifying those with the greatest year-over-year growth in listing pageviews on the firm's website and by surveying real estate agents.

To generate this year's list, neighborhoods had to have had at least 50 listings in both 2018 and 2019, and 20 median views per listing.
