|But these challenges are necessary for the industry's growth.Women have improved the world in countless ways, and it'simportant to recognize where change is needed.
|March is Women's History Month, and this year's themeis ”Nevertheless She Persisted.” Before March comes to aclose, let's acknowledge the 13 women who currently runstate insurance departments across the U.S. Their backgroundsand experiences are varied, but they all bring a strong commitmentto regulating the insurance industry in their jurisdictions toprotect their consumers.
