ZurichInsurance Group has announced that Kathleen Savio will serve asthe Zurich North America's next CEO, effective January 1, 2018.

She succeeds Mike Foley, who is retiring after a decade asZurich North America's CEO.

|

Savio currently serves as president of North America'salternative markets unit, which she has maintained since 2012. Overthe past year, Savio has also overseen the integration of RuralCommunity Insurance Services, one of the largest crop insuranceproviders in the U.S.

She has held a series of positions since she joined Zurich in1991, including vice president corporate and marketingcommunications and vice president of strategicinitiatives.

Transition

Savio (pictured at right) will join Zurich's executivecommittee October 1, 2017, as Zurich North America CEO-Designate,and will work closely with Foley during the transition.
