Willis Towers Watson has announced a series of leadership appointments within its Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) business.

  • Toby Wemyss has been named global head of facultative business. Wemyss previously served as global head of placement prior to his appointment. 
  • Philip Smaje has been appointed chief broking officer for Willis GB, the operating segment that includes Willis's U.K. retail insurance business, facultative and London specialty businesses. Smaje previously served as CEO of Willis Global Aerospace.
  • Paul Monks has been named global head of affinity business.
  • Alexis Faber has been appointed global head of financial lines business. Previously, Faber served as co-head of Global Financial Lines, as well as the leader of FINEX in North America. Read more here.
  • Eric Joost has been named global head of property and casual business. Joost previously served as COO at Willis North America, Inc. 
  • Mike Liss is now head of CRB activities for North America. Liss most recently served as the company's Midwest leader and will retain these responsibilities until a successor is named.
