New York City-based risk management professional associationRIMS hasappointed Nowell R. Seaman, director of global risk management forSaskatchewan-based Potash Corporation, its president for 2017.

Seaman has been a member of RIMS for 21 years and has served onits Board of Directors for nine years.

“As president, it is my goal to ensure that the Society'smomentum continues forward and that, together, our global networkis prepared for whatever may come next,” said Seaman.

RIMS also named the other officers of its board for 2017:
