The first official NAPSLO annual meeting took place inconjunction with the National Association of Independent Insurersannual meeting in November 1975, with an initial membership of 62people. In 1977, membership had increased to 231 firms. A yearlater, in 1978, the first NAPSLO convention not hold in connectionwith the NAII meeting took place in San Francisco. Last year inAtlanta, the 2015 Annual Convention was attended by 4,179surplus lines professionals from the United States and GreatBritain.
