Thistranslates into high demand for cybersecurity professionals,according to a recent analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statisticsdata by Stanford University, which projects demand togrow by 53 percent through 2018.

Job-search site Indeed notes that companies don't have enoughIT staff with cybersecurity experience to provide the protectionthe companies say they need. As insurers and underwriters assess acompany's risk profile, the lack of qualified personnel to managecybersecurity could have an impact on rates, policy provisions andcoverage.

In determining its list of where the best-paying cybersecurityjobs are, Indeed used the title of “information securityspecialist,” which includes responsibilities for design,implementation, monitoring and testing of different types of cyberdefense.
