The board of directors of Webster, Mass.-based Mapfre USA Corp. said that, effectiveJan. 1, 2017, Jaime Tamayo willbe promoted to CEO of the international territorial area ofMapfre. He will oversee the North America, Europe, the Middle East,Africa and the Asia-Pacific regions. Tamayo will succeedJavier Fernández-Cid, who will retire at the endof the year. Lockton’s Houston, SanAntonio, Dallas, and Fort Worth Property and Casualty operationswill be combined into a single operation under the leadership ofTim Kelly, chairman and CEO. FrankScardino will continue in his role as president of theDallas Property and Casualty business. BruceSammis has been named chairman and CEO of Lockton’semployee benefits operations in Texas.

Commercial reinsurance broking and underwriting specialistLondon Market Group said it hasappointed NicolasAubert, head of Great Britain forWillis Towers Watson, as its new chairman. He will succeedSteve Hearn, the chief executive officer of CooperGay Swett & Crawford, who has held the role for two years.
