Chicago-based insurance brokerage Hub International Ltd. announced that it has acquired the assets of the New Lenox, Ill.-based Columbian Agency. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but Columbian’s owners — Kevin Scanlon, Gary Eaton, Lee McWethy and Rob Kegley — will join Hub Midwest.
Hub also announced that it has acquired San Francisco-based insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm Equity Risk Partners Inc. Terms were not disclosed, but Equity Risk CEO Michael Marcon will join Hub and report to Roy Taylor, president of Hub’s U.S. Western Region.
