Kansas City, Mo.-based Lockton Cos. has opened an office in McLean, Va.This office in Northern Virginia is an extension of Lockton'sexisting operation in Washington, D.C. The new office is at 8280Greensboro Drive and is expected to be in operation by Dec. 1.

New York City-based insurance professional servicescompany Marsh is now offering MarshIO+, an enhanced excess casualty policy form forcompanies with significant product and other mass tortexposures. Marsh IO+ is an occurrence-reportedexcess casualty form that includes the “integrated occurrence”feature found in standard occurrence-reported forms. The featureallows insureds to batch claims into a single occurrence,potentially saving them significant retention costs. MarshIO+ also includes features such as separate aggregateand unaggregated auto liability limits, expanded pollutioncoverage, acceptance of standard umbrella submissions, andautomatic extended reporting coverage. MarshIO+ supports up to $300 million in limits excess ofattachment points, depending upon risk profile, from as low as $10million to a projected average of $25 million.
