Lockton announced expanded leadershiproles for Mike Hammond, Glenn Spencer, and Neil Nimmo. The threeexecutives will work closely together on Lockton’s continuingglobal expansion.

Glenn Spencer has been named chief operatingofficer of Lockton, Inc. and president of Lockton Companies in theU.S., and is based in Lockton’s Kansas City office.Previously, Spencer served as U.S. chief operating officer forLockton. A 10-year Lockton associate, he held the position of chiefoperating officer of Lockton’s U.S. business since 2010, guidingthe growth of the business from 2,300 associates to more than3,500, as revenue increased from $564 million to $925 million. Hepreviously held executive roles at insurance brokers Palmer &Cay, Marsh, and Johnson & Higgins, in addition to risk managerat AOL.

Neil Nimmo will transition to CEO of bothLockton Companies LLP, in the U.K., and Lockton InternationalHoldings Ltd, succeeding Mike Hammond on May 1, 2016. Currentlydeputy CEO for Lockton’s international operations, Nimmo joinedLockton in 2007 and has been a leader in the growth and developmentof Lockton’s U.K. and international operations during the pastdecade. He has been a key leader in Lockton’s largest U.K.business, Risk Solutions, for the past eight years andhas served as a founding partner on the Board of LocktonCompanies LLP. He has more than 30 years of experienceadvising clients and structuring complex insurance programs,particularly in the Professions and Management Liability fields.Prior to joining Lockton, he was a managing director at Marsh andworked at Johnson & Higgins in London. Nimmo will continue tobe based in Lockton’s London operation.

Mike Hammond has been appointed executivechairman of Lockton International Holdings Ltd, the operatingbusiness for all of Lockton’s businesses outside the U.S. He willalso work with the Lockton Inc. board to develop and lead thecompany’s strategic planning process globally. Hammond developedhis career at Sedgwick where he held client and executive boardpositions for 23 years in both the U.K. and U.S., and waspreviously CEO of Marsh U.K. between 2000–2003 and a director ofthe Marsh Inc. board. Hammond has led Lockton’s operations outsidethe U.S. since the privately-held broker bought the internationalbusiness of Alexander Forbes in November 2006. Underhis leadership, the company has developed Lockton operationsaround the world with major growth in Asia, Australia, Mexico,Brazil, MENA, and the U.K. During this time, Lockton’sinternational operations have grown from $150 million in 2006 with1,500 associates to revenues of $317 million with 2,100 Associatesin 2015.

Zurich announced that PaulHorgan, previously head of Group Reinsurance, has beenappointed CEO of Zurich’s Global Corporate in North America (GCiNA)business. As CEO, Horgan is now accountable for the direction,management and performance of GCiNA, a major business area withinNorth America, which recorded gross written premiums and policyfees of $3.7 billion in 2014. Based in New York City, he will playa significant role in the success of both Global Corporate and thewider General Insurance business goals. Horgan joined Zurich aschief underwriting officer for GCiNA in 2007. He was appointed tohead of Group Reinsurance in 2012. Prior to joining Zurich, he helda number of senior roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.Previously, he held roles in reinsurance, underwriting, finance,marketing and account management.

InVEST announced that BryanBernier has been appointed to its national board. Bernieris senior account executive at Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency,Inc. in Nashua, N.H. Bernier brings more than 18 years of industryexperience to the board. He previously served as New HampshireAssociation of Insurance Agents (NHAIA) chairman of the board,NHAIA Young Agents chair and the New Hampshire InVEST Taskforce.Bernier serves on the New Hampshire Board for the JumpstartCoalition and is member of his local Rotary Club.

Willis North America, a unit ofWillis Group Holdings plc., announced the appointment ofKen Perry as vice president of the Human CapitalPractice, Willis of Tennessee. Based in Knoxville, Perry will beresponsible for business development within Willis’s Human CapitalPractice. CNA announced the appointmentof Wes Sprinkle as senior vice president, SmallBusiness, effective Oct. 19, 2015. In his new role, Sprinkle willbe responsible for driving the growth of CNA’s Small Businesscustomer segment through the development of cutting-edge products,innovative automation solutions and superior customer service.Sprinkle brings a 20-year track record of driving business resultsin the insurance and consulting environments. Most recently, heserved as chief operating officer for Allstate’s $500 millionBusiness Insurance division, where he was responsible for leadingproduct development, underwriting, P&L management, pricing,data and analytics, agency servicing, customer service, operationsand IT. Cullen Sophy was added as senior vice presidentand head of Specialty Services. Neil Schwartz joins as executive generaladjuster and will be based in Pasadena, Calif. Schwartz has morethan 28 years of adjusting experience and has worked losses rangingfrom catastrophes such as Hurricane Sandy and Wilma to significantproperty damage resulting from fire and earthquakes.

Martin Vose joins as executive general adjusterand is based in Cunningham Lindsey’s newest office in Oregon. Vosebrings 15 years of adjusting experience in areas such as property,marine and transit, construction defect, and product liability.

Cunningham Lindsey has also expanded its Forensic AdvisoryServices (FAS) division with the addition of JohnHarter, CPA. Harter has more than 16 years of accountingexperience, and will provide forensic accounting and businessinterruption analysis in relation to insurance claims. Based inGeorgia, Harter holds a Masters of Accounting from Kennesaw StateUniversity and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Bill Henry, chief executive officer andchairman of Dallas, Texas-based MHBT, a Marsh& McLennan Agency LLC company, was elected as the 2016chairman of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers.He succeeds Steve Brockmeyer, president and CEO of Bolton &Company in Pasadena, Calif. Henry was elected during TheCouncil’s 102nd annual Insurance Leadership Forum (ILF). TheInsurance Leadership Forum has been instrumental to the commercialproperty/casualty insurance industry since its beginnings in 1913,and continues to be the pivotal place for market leaders worldwideto convene. CTEH announced the appointment ofAllen "Higg" Higginbotham, REM, as director of theToxicology Emergency Response Program (TERP). Higginbotham is aRegistered Environmental Manager (REM) and has 24 yearsof experience in the HAZMAT Emergency Response industry andpersonnel management. He specializes in industrial and hazardousmaterial firefighting, emergency response, remediation, industrialservices, training and response center management. He joined CTEHin September 2013 as a member of the Major Projects Team.
