The Spencer EducationalFoundation, Inc. hosts its seventh annual fundraising gala onSept. 17, 2015, at The Waldorf-Astoria New York. For theircontributions to the advancement of risk management and insuranceeducational opportunities, the Foundation will honor DeanM. Klisura, Managing Director, Global Industry Specialties& Placement Leader, Marsh, and Christopher A.Maleno, Senior Vice President, ACE Group and DivisionPresident, ACE USA. The honorees will be recognized by morethan 750 risk management and insurance executives, who also will becelebrating industry education.

“These individuals are role models for the next generation ofindustry leaders and their companies are, and continue to be,dedicated supporters of the Foundation and advocates for industryeducation,” said Brion Callori, Chairman ofSpencer Educational Foundation. “We invite the industry to join usin September at our Gala Dinner to celebrate their accomplishmentsas we continue to raise awareness and support for risk managementand insurance educational programming, scholarships andgrants.”

The Spencer Educational Foundation, a nonprofit organizationaffiliated with RIMS, is a global organization that providesfunding for the education of risk management professionals. Since1979, undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students, as wellas practicing risk professionals, have benefitted from more than$5.6 million in scholarships awarded by the Foundation. TheFoundation has also awarded grants totaling more than $3.25 millionto educational institutions that offer risk managementcurriculums.
