The Anita Borg Institute (ABI), anonprofit dedicated to the advancement of women in technology, hasreleased a report on the top companies in the world for femaletechnologists. Making the list of 13 companies where womenthrive is USAA, a provider of insurance to more than 10 millionmembers.
|The ABI initiative focuses on identifying companies committed tothe success of technical women at all career levels. Using arigorous statistical method, they evaluated participating companieson their current representation, recruitment and promotion ofwomen, as well as the year over year trends in these areas.
|For this year's Top Companies for Women Technologists LeadershipIndex, the Anita Borg Institute evaluated 35 companies with a totaltechnical workforce of over 435,000.
