Two Malaysian teenage boys are suing Malaysia Airlines and theMalaysian government over the loss of their father on the missingFlight 370, says The Star. This is the first lawsuit filed by the family ofa passenger of the plane that mysteriously vanished over the IndianOcean in March.

Jee Kinson and Jee Kinland, sons of MH370 passenger Jee JingHang, say in the suit that the civial aviation department did nottry to establish contact with the plane after it dropped from radarwithin reasonable time. They claim Malaysia Airlines was negligentand failed to take all due measures to ensure a safe flight, saysThe Star.

In the suit, the boys also called out the immigration departmentfor allowing passengers with fake identities to board the plane.According to Malaysian police, the two men traveling on MH370 withstolen passports were Iranians trying to illegally migrate toEurope and were not considered terrorists.

In terms of response to the disappearance, the suit names thedirector-generals of civil aviation and immigration, Malaysia'snavy chief, and the government and alleges they committed grossneglect and breach of duty, says The Star.

The boys are seeking damages for mental distress, emotional painand the loss of support following the disappearance of theirfather, who they sayoperated an Internet business that earned amonthly income of nearly 17,000 ringgit ($5,178).
