There's been a debate raging about whether college is worth thecost. The New York Times weighed in with a story recently saying it was a good deal if a collegedegree was earned.
|Still, not all degrees are the same when it comes to earningpower at a job. Recently, we looked at the 30 Best Paying College Majors: 2014. Engineering fields tookmany of the top spots in the survey of 129 majors.
|Now we turn our attention to which pay the worst. Of course,salary isn't the only consideration when choosing a career, but itcan't be denied that the more one earns the faster those studentloans can be paid off. Still, the careers on our list might lead topersonal fulfillment that can't be measured in monetary terms.

|The rankings below are based on data collected by payscale.comfrom 1,000 universities and include graduates with bachelor'sdegrees only. The universities surveyed include 88% of U.S. schoolswith an enrollment of more than 5,0000. We sorted them by startingsalary down to the lowest and included information and ranking formid-career pay.
