Industry veteran Peter Gorman was appointed interim chiefexecutive officer of Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford's NorthAmerican subsidiary Cooper Gay Re.
|Gorman previously served as executive vice president of CooperGay Re and has more than 22 years of experience in the reinsurancemarket.

|Gorman's promotion follows the departure of CEO Ron Carlier, who resigned sixmonths after being appointed to the role. Gorman will be basedout of the company's New York office.
