Swett & Crawford has announced the formation ofa Construction Industry Group to focus on providing insuranceservices to retail brokers and their clients who haveconstruction-related exposures and issues.

The group will be headed by Anthony Mastrolia, executive vicepresident of construction, and will include brokers withconstruction capabilities from different offices throughout thecountry. By combining all product lines including Casualty,Property and Professional Services, the team will be capable ofaddressing a multitude of exposures associated with theconstruction industry.

Focus will include contractor practice programs as well asproject specific products for owners and developers. By workingclosely with other Swett & Crawford industry groups such asPublic Entity, Healthcare and Energy, the Construction IndustryGroup will be well positioned to provide solutions for constructionrisks faced by a broad range of entities.

An emphasis will also be placed on developing a coordinatedapproach with insurers using Swett & Crawford's understandingof the construction industry and the capability to provide thecoverage terms and conditions required.
