How do you communicate with your insurance carriercustomers to meet their needs?
Brazeal: "Wecontinually solicit feedback on our products and services in aneffort to improve and evolve. From a relationship managementperspective, we are in constant contact with our clients. From asoftware maintenance standpoint, we hold monthly user meetings andan annual conference where clients are given the opportunity toshare experiences with their peers to determine how they can bemore efficient using the tools and services we provide them."

What are some of the positive developments your companyhas achieved in the past year to make your product stand out amid acrowded solution-provider market?
Brazeal: "We'vestrengthened our strategic partnerships with insurance industrymember-only organizations to better serve our clients moreholistically including the National Association of Fixed Annuities,Insured Retirement Institute, Depository and Trust ClearingCorporation, and Association of Cooperative Research andDevelopment. We delivered all requested product enhancementswithout additional cost to our clients and continued to run ourproduct with zero defects. In addition, we've introduced new nicheproducts geared toward translating their native system data to theACORD and DTCC standards so they can reap the benefits ofstandardizing their internal and externalcommunications."

Background: VERTEX is dedicated to serving lifeand annuity insurers and their distribution channels.
